How does one of the state’s biggest banking institutions honor its top performers? Well, dress them up in ridiculous costumes and insert them into classic TV shows, that’s how. Filming the company’s top officers and compositing them into classic TV shows was no small feat. Sure, pulling chroma-keys and rotoscoping 40-year-old footage seems like challenging visual effects work, but I can do that in my sleep. Getting clients to trade their end-of-quarter reports for scripts and channel their inner thespian is the real challenge. Their acting didn’t win any awards, but this project stands as one of my most coveted works, a great combination of motion graphics, visual effects, editing and good ol’ fashioned art direction.
